Is this a fashion film for one of the greatest Italian design houses? Well, some people say it could be – but no, it’s an intimate wedding film of Bianca and Aaron’s elopement in Tuscany!
They described their elopement idea as an“escape to Italy” as they are both from Australia and wished to travel the world to find their perfect location and venue to exchange their vows.
Finally they choose Certaldo for the wedding day and Florence as the perfect spot for a pre or after wedding shooting. What we also soon established was the concept of me doing both wedding videography and photography at the same time. It was a challenge, but honestly getting out of your comfort zone is crucial to grow as an artist. And you know what, it all turned out to be great! You can view the photos here and see for your self what is the outcome of me holding two different cameras in front of my face when they were walking out the ceremony location and people were cheering and throwing flowers! Many people will say it’s impossible, but hopefully we proved them wrong, right?
Escape to Italy
The wedding preparation took place in this amazing little airbnb called Antica Toree del Borgo which located just a few steps away from the wedding ceremony location Palazzo Pretorio.
And the party was going down in this italian restaurant Osteria del Vicario, which served the best foccacio I had in a long time!
All in all, it was a great pleasure to tell this intimate story of that beautiful couple and well yes, be their wedding videographer and photographer. Till the next time!
